Motorcity Motorist Centres Ltd was Our aim has always been to offer our customers a high quality, cost effective service on all makes of vehicle. Having a workshop floor area of almost 6000 sq/ft, which accommodates 6 vehicle repair lifts in addition to Class 4 & 7 MOT testing facilities, tyre bay and additional working areas, we undertake all kinds of servicing, mechanical, electrical and diagnostic repairs on all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes We employ well qualified staff with a wealth of experience; some of our most senior employees have been in the trade for more than 30 years and several have been with the company for more than 20 years.
The company is justly proud of its training record with staff gaining qualifications thorough approved professional bodies such as City and Guilds, The Institute of Motor Industries, The Institute of Road Transport Engineers, The Society of Operations Engineers as well as the more equipment and systems specific qualification courses through which staff have attained training qualifications with industry leaders the likes of Bosch and Snap-On (diagnostics), Hella (air conditioning systems) amongst others. We are able to carry out servicing to manufacturers recommended schedules, providing parts from leading original equipment component manufacturers which either equal or exceed the vehicle manufacturer’s specification as is required to maintain your vehicle warranty. We compete very favourably with national fast fit chains in most cases when supplying and fitting Exhausts, Brakes, Tyres, Batteries, Shock absorbers etc. as well as offering a much broader service such as MOT testing and repairs, Diagnostic Work, Clutch replacement, Timing belt replacement, Steering and Suspension repairs, Air-conditioning servicing and repairs, Engine and Gearbox repairs, as well as Servicing and general maintenence. ![]() Currently the only service not offered in house is paint and body work repairs, though we are pleased to recommend quality local repairers should our customers require.
We are proud of our connections with local communities, our sponsorship of local amateur sport teams and in particular their junior sections. We believe it is important for the future wellbeing of the area that children be afforded the opportunity to channel their energies into sports which promote both competition and cooperation in a healthy and enjoyable environment.
